Abstract

Appreciative inquiry is one of the approaches that have been used by different development practitioners to bring about transformation in rural communities. The paper focuses on the principles and process of appreciative inquiry. It uses relevant examples from the field to demonstrate that appreciative inquiry is an effective approach to rural transformation.
