Title: Building a caring economy

Abstract: Riane Eisler is an 88 year Holocaust survivor whose work focuses on how to build a caring economy which highlights, in particular, counting the work done by women (or parents, in the home) & orienting the economy (and metrics) around caring for others and the environment. Her two most famous works are The Chalice & the Blade and The Real Wealth of Nations (which was hailed by Gloria Steinem as "revolutionary.") Bretton Woods 75 gathered a diverse group of economists, policy makers, authors, activists, scientists, entrepreneurs, & creatives to examine the frameworks created at Bretton Woods & to explore the future of global economics.
