dc.description.abstract | This Report presents what transpired during the Five- Months Internship which was carried out in
accordance with the ARU 2023/2024 Objectives provided under Chapter One and it involved the
implementation of the action steps that were recommended by the CBPAR conducted in Nyakabira
Village.
The Internship started on 25th April, 2024 and ended on 20th October, 2024. It was carried out in
Nyakabira and Kyakanagi Villages of Isunga Sub County, Kagadi District Mid-Western Uganda.
During the Internship, the intern was mentored by the Technical and Political Staff of Sub County,
the faculty Supervisors, Epicenter Manager and Community members.
Methods and Techniques used included; the Visionary Approach (VA), Community Action
Planning (CAP), Observation, Participatory Action Research (PAR) and Home Visits.
The interventions were made at Individual/household, Groups/institution and
Community/subcounty levels whereby she participated in Community Development (CD)
activities such as cleaning a water source, and working on access roads, organizing security
meetings, sensitizing community members and facilitating different appropriate technologies
among other activities as they will be fully discussed in Chapter Four.
The intern also worked hand in hand with the technical and political staff of Isunga sub – county
to implement and monitor government programs like Parish Development Model and the details
