    Abstract
    This report represents what inspired during the one-month Practicum in line with the objectives; facilitating the process of enabling people to know that they are key to their own development and come up with community Vision and implement community actions plans, conduct participatory action research through the practicum process, enable people develop their own strategies for local self-help and self-reliance through community participation socially, economically and politically and as well as enabling the people recognize and use the inter-relationship between development concern in rural technologies, health, nutrition, sanitation, farming, water management, income generation, and environment, system thinking so that they have an all-inclusive approach to development, and also finding a research topic. The practicum started on the 1st-Apirl -2023 and ended on 1st May-2023 in Kihuura B Village, Karaihya ward, Mabaale Town Council, Kagadi District. The intern was in the family of Mr. Babwetera Paskal and Mrs. Atuhuura Margret. During the practicum, the intern worked with the Technical and political staff of Kihuura B, Mabaale Town Council, the supervisor, Epicenter Manager, the host family and Community Members. The methods used during the practicum were Visionary Approach, Community Action Plan, Observation, Participatory Action Research, interview, Observation. They intervened at individual, family, group and community levels to implement. The intern engaged and participated in Community Development (CD), activities such as cleaning water source, working on water source path. The intern also enabled the people of Kihuura B to formulate the village vision, 4households to came up with their vision and worked with 2 groups, one existing and one formed by the intern. The intern faced an expected challenge like death for one week whereby even some trainings and technologies were left out. The intern learnt that visionary approach is the key in Rural transformation since it shows the clear path while one working towards his or her end result. In addition, the key results created by the intern includes; Mobilization for households and community Development through establishment of household and community visions, community action plans, improved health, sanitation and nutrition good farming practices and income generation thus the one-month practicum was energetic to the community
